Betaine Powder is a naturally derived, water-soluble humectant and conditioning ingredient commonly sourced from sugar beet. It helps attract and retain moisture, supporting the natural water balance of the skin and hair. Betaine leaves formulations feeling smoother, softer and more comfortable without creating a heavy or sticky finish. 

In skincare formulations, it helps improve hydration and reduce the dry, tight feeling associated with moisture loss. In haircare products, it supports conditioning, softness, detangling and improved manageability. It is suitable for facial serums, toners, creams, lotions, cleansers, shampoos, conditioners, hair masks and makeup products. 

Note: Betaine Powder is trimethylglycine and should not be confused with Cocamidopropyl Betaine, which is a liquid surfactant.
