Product Info: Allantoin is used in cosmetic formulations for its soothing, moisturizing and hydrating properties, ability to increase the smoothness of the skin and its wound healing properties. It also stimulates the formation of normal healthy tissues even at low concentrations.

Formulation Guidelines: Allantoin is soluble in water up to 0.5%. To incorporate more than 0.5% in your formula, heating is needed.
