Usage:

Gluconolactone is a Polyhydroxy acid (PHA) that offers all the benefits of AHA but gentler on the skin making it suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

It’s also used as a pH adjuster, moisturizer and chelating agent. 

The multiple hydroxyl groups on the molecules attract water resulting in a moisturizing effect when added to skincare formulations. Due to their ability to hydrate and condition the skin, formulations containing Gluconolactone May smooth the skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles. 

Through its slow hydrolysis to glycolic acid, gluconolactone ensures a continuous decrease of pH to equilibrium. 

𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Avoid mixing too many lightening powders in one product as this can be counterproductive. Start with lower usage rates and do a patch test.
